Family therapy views a person’s symptoms as taking place in the larger context of the family. Without understanding that larger group and the complex, dynamic interactions that take place and how those interactions were formed, it may not be as easy to help the identified client (the person with the “problem” that everyone else in the family is concerned about). Evie has worked with many families and designed personalized counseling goals and plans to bring about relational healing and healthy relationships.
As a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor, Evie's calling is to listen to her clients as they express the hurts, pains and challenges of life. The true healing that occurs over time comes from allowing what is stuffed inside to be brought into the light. Many people can feel stuck and unable to move ahead. Counseling is a power tool to help free clients allowing them to move forward in an emotionally and spiritually healthier way. Evie is available to counseling either from her home office or utilizing Skype or FaceTime.
